3 Select a picture or video to view on the TV.
Connect your device to your home theater
You can use your device with home theater systems. With compatible home theaters,
you can enjoy HD videos with Dolby™ Digital Plus 5.1 multichannel audio for an
immersive surround sound experience.
1 Connect an HDMI adapter to a compatible HDMI cable (cable sold separately).
2 Use the cable to connect your device to your home theater.
The home theater needs to support the HDMI 1.3 standard and be able to pass
through video to your TV over HDMI. Your device decodes Dolby Digital Plus, and
outputs PCM audio to your home theater.
3 To set the home theater to use the respective HDMI input, see the user instructions
of your home theater.
4 Play a video on your device.
The maximum supported video resolution is 1280x720 (720p), and your device does
not support files that are larger than 4 GB.
