3G 3rd generation mobile communications. A digital system for
mobile communications which aims at global use and
provides increased bandwidth. 3G lets a mobile device user
access a wide variety of services, such as multimedia.
Ad-hoc operating
mode
A WLAN network mode where two or more devices connect
to each other using WLAN directly without a WLAN access
point.
Cookies Cookies are little pieces of information, given by the server
to you, to store information about your visits to a web site.
When you accept cookies, the server is able to evaluate your
use of the web site, what you are interested in, what you
want to read and so on.
