■ Charge the battery
1. Connect the Nokia approved
charger to a wall socket.
2. Insert the charger plug into the
USB connector on the right side
of the device.
If the battery is completely
discharged, it may take a few
seconds before the charging
indicator appears on the display or before any calls can be made.
Note that the USB connector on the right side of the device can
be used to either charge the battery or connect to a compatible
computer for data transmission. Please see “USB data cable‚" p. 41.
■ Switch your device on or off
Press and hold the power key for at least
three seconds.
Warning: Do not switch the
device on when wireless device
use is prohibited or when it may
cause interference or danger.
