Enter Credit Card Information

There are two ways to enter credit card information in the

system: you can use a magnetic card reader, or you can enter

the information manually. Use the instructions below to help

you complete the credit card procedures on the following pages.

Using the Magnetic Card Reader

1. Hold the card with the stripe facing:

❏ down and away from the UWS (see example 1); or

❏ down and toward the UWS (see example 2)

2. Place the card in the top of the slot on the UWS and pull it

gently toward you.

3. Remove the card and wait for the system prompts.

Entering Information Manually

1. At the prompt Enter info, type the credit card number and

press [Enter].

2. At the prompt

Enter expiration date, enter the date as a single

number.

Example: [599] for May, 1999.

3. Follow the system prompts.
