Hotspot Internet Access
Hotspot solutions not only help users to access the
Internet at public places but also bring extra revenue for
service providers. SP913 wireless hotspot gateway is
able to be deployed in a single site, such as cafe and
restaurant (Fig.1). Moreover, it can also be adopted in
larger scale environments of multiple sites, like libraries
and chain stores, via remote Radius server (Fig.2 ).
SP913 hotspot gateway is able to support up to 100
concurrent users and 2000 user accounts. With various
authentication methods and firewall policies,
administrators can easily manage and enhance system
security. With built-in billing mechanism and receipt-
printing features, SP913 helps to generate revenue
stream from public Internet services.
Besides local database, SP913 provides the
following external authentication servers, like
POP3, RADIUS, LDAP and NT Domain. By
enabling the "Radius Roaming Out" function of
SP913, the administrator can configure the
system to help users login from each shop front
of the chain with a centralized Authentication
Server.

SP913 does have a comprehensive session-log
for security. The session-log displays the user
account, MAC ID, and LAN IP of connected
Clients, and mapped to the IP of destination
websites. This is sufficient for administrators to
know which LAN clients on the external sites
are accessing to.
