Utility What it does Comment
Format Disk Does a low-level format on
the hard disk drive. Before
it starts, a prompt appears
asking you to confirm that
you want to format the
hard disk.
Verify Disk Media Scans the selected hard
disk for bad blocks and
prompts you to reassign
them.
Exit Menu, SCSI Select
Feature Option Comment
Exit Utility? Yes

CAUTION
You cannot stop the formatting once
it starts! Do NOT answer yes unless
you intend to format the disk.
You can press <Esc> at any time to
stop the verification task.
When you finish configuring SCSI
devices, select “Yes” and press
<Enter>. This message appears:
“Please press any key to reboot”
