Software License
Manager
35. After the MicroTools software has been copied, the Micro-DCI software License Manager is
opened. The MicroTools software is licensed and protected using a hardware/software
protection scheme. A USB or Parallel port hardware security key is supplied with each copy
of MicroTools. The hardware key is matched to a set of software licenses strings. Each
string must be entered to enable the full functionality of the software. There will be two
license keys required for this class, a license for a feature called udci and a license for the
MicroTools software called microtools3
