4.5. Mains connection
Connect the appliance only to a properly installed safety pow-
er socket (230V ~ 50Hz) that is easy to reach and close to the
set-up location. Keep the plug socket free of obstructions so
that the plug can be pulled out easily.
Remove the plug from the mains socket after each use, before
cleaning and during periods when the appliance is left unat-
tended.
When disconnecting the appliance from the mains supply, al-
ways pull on the plug rather than on the cable.
Unwind the cable fully when using the appliance.
Do not kink or crush the mains cable.
Avoid the use of extension cables in order to prevent tripping.
Do not allow the mains cable to come into contact with hot
objects or surfaces (e.g. cooker hob).
Do not allow the mains cable to come into contact with water
or other liquids.
4.6. Never carry out repairs yourself

Live components. There is a risk of electric shock.
Therefore, follow the instructions below:
If the plug, cable or appliance itself is damaged, disconnect
the appliance from the mains immediately.
In order to prevent exposure to danger, damaged mains ca-
bles should be replaced by the manufacturer or the manufac-
turers customer service department or a similarly qualified
person.
Never try to open and/or repair the product yourself. There is
a risk of electric shock. In the event of a fault, contact our Ser-
vice Centre or another suitable professional repair workshop.
