8. Operation
8.1. Initial operation
Insert the clean dough hooks onto the drive shaft in the dough container.
Prepare the dough in the dough container.
Make sure that the outside of the dough container is clean before insertion.
Place the dough container in the brackets in the baking chamber and press
down firmly so that the tension springs on both sides click audibly into place.
Make sure that the ingredients do not drip into the baking chamber and do not
touch the heating element!
Close the lid.
Plug the appliance into the mains.
A beep sounds. The appliance now sets itself to the basic programme and the
normal time.
8.2. Programme selection
Use the MENU button to select the desired programme (1–12).
Programme 1 Basic
Basic programme for normal bread dough.
Programme 2 French (white bread)
Programme for breads made of white, protein-enhanced flour in the French style
and light breads with a crispy crust.
Programme 3 Whole wheat
Programme for doughs containing a larger portion of wholemeal wheat flour, rye
flour, oatmeal or bran. This programme includes a delay in which the coarse ingredi-
ents can soak. These breads are usually smaller and more compact.
Programme 4 Quick
Programme for doughs containing baking powder or baking soda: knead, rise, bake.
