c. Starting the Unit.
Do not attempt to remove power plug(s) before turning OFF start-stop switch (ST), unit
circuit breaker(s) and external power source.
(1) With power properly applied and the fresh air damper set connected (refer to paragraphs 2-
17a and 2-17b), place the START-STOP switch to “I” (ON).
(2) Continue with Start Up Inspection (refer to paragraph 2-17d).
d. Startup Inspection.
(1) Physical Inspection.
(a) Perform before operation checks in accordance with table 2-12.
(b) Check rotation of condenser and evaporator fans.
(c) Check compressor oil level (refer to paragraph 2-11).
(2) Check Controller Function Codes. Check and, if required, reset controller Function Codes
(Cd27 through Cd39) in accordance with desired operating parameters (refer to paragraph 2-
13f(2)).
DataCORDER
(a) Check, and if required, set the DataCORDER Configuration in accordance with desired
recording parameter (refer to paragraph 2-13f(2)).
(b) Enter a “Trip Start.” To enter a “Trip Start,” do the following:
1.
Depress the ALT MODE key and scroll to Code dC30.
2.
Depress and hold the ENTER key for five seconds.
3.
The “Trip Start” event will be entered in the Data-CORDER.
(3) Complete Inspection. Allow unit to run for five minutes to stabilize conditions and perform a
pre-trip diagnosis in accordance with section 2-15.
