Interval Item Action
INTERIOR
Before Cargo Doors  Inspect cargo doors for obvious damage such as cracks and holes
affecting serviceability.
 Check seals for damage.
Before Lights  Check light for security of components.
Before Floor  Inspect container floor for punctures and obvious damage.
 Inspect floor for blocked or clogged drains.
EXTERIOR
During Refrigeration Unit  Ensure Refrigeration unit is operational.
INTERIOR
During Container  Check container for free flow of air over cargo. There must be at
least one foot of space between top of cargo and container ceiling.
 Make sure cargo does not block evaporator section of refrigeration
unit on front container wall.
After Refrigeration Unit  If the refrigeration unit is not going to be used for several days, it
must be pumped.
