8. Care and maintenance
a) Do not store the unit under direct sunlight, at a high
temperature, or in high humidity or dust. Performance
may be degraded.
b) The cuff contains a sensitive air-tight bubble. Handle
this cuff carefully and avoid all types of stress through
twisting or buckling.
c) Clean the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use gas,
thinners or similar solvents. Spots on the cuff can be
removed carefully with a damp cloth and mild liquid
dish soap. The cuff with bladder must not be
washed in a dishwasher, clothes washer, or sub-
merged in water.
d) Handle the tube carefully. Do not pull on it. Do not
allow the tubing to kink and keep it away from sharp
edges.
e) Never open the monitor. This voids the manufacturer’s
warranty.
