PIC32MZ Embedded Connectivity with Floating Point Unit (EF) Family
6.0 RESETS
The Reset module combines all Reset sources and
controls the device Master Reset signal, SYSRST. The
device Reset sources are as follows:
• Power-on Reset (POR)
• Master Clear Reset pin (MCLR)
• Software Reset (SWR)
• Watchdog Timer Reset (WDTR)
• Brown-out Reset (BOR)
• Configuration Mismatch Reset (CMR)
• Deadman Timer Reset (DMTR)
A simplified block diagram of the Reset module is
illustrated in
Figure 6-1.
