DOCUMENT LAYOUT

This document describes how to use the PIC32 (General Purpose) Starter Kit (also

referred to as “starter kit”) as a development tool to emulate and debug firmware on a

target board. This user’s guide is composed of the following chapters:

• Chapter 1. “Introduction” provides a brief overview of the starter kit, highlighting

its features and uses.

• Chapter 2. “Hardware” provides the hardware descriptions of the starter kit.

• Appendix A. “Board Layout and Schematics” provides a block diagram, board

layouts, and detailed schematics of the starter kit.

Documents are identified with a “DS” number. This number is located on the bottom of each

page, in front of the page number. The numbering convention for the DS number is

“DSXXXXXA”, where “XXXXX” is the document number and “A” is the revision level of the

document.
