37. DACIFB Interface (DACIFB)
Rev.: 1.1.0.1
37.1 Features
• 12-bit resolution
• Flexible conversion range
• 1 continuous time or 2 Sample/Hold (S/H) outputs
• Multiple trigger sources for each channel
• Built-in offset and gain calibration
• Can be used as input to analog comparator or ADC (as an internal wire and without S/H stage)
• Two PDCA channels
• Low-power mode
37.2 Overview
The DAC interface (DACIFB) controls a DAC that converts digital values to analog voltages with
12-bit resolution. The output from the DAC can either be continuous to one pin, or fed to two dif-
ferent pins using a sample and hold circuitry. Options like low power mode and gain and offset
calibration are available.
The output signal swing is defined by the reference voltage AREF. The DAC operates in unipo-
lar mode, i.e. output voltage shifts within the 0V to AREF range. The following sources are
available as AREF reference voltage:
•VDDANA
• An external reference applied to the DACREF input pin.
