oltage Regulator Output
For systems with a main supply voltage above 6V, an
inexpensive, low quiescent current voltage regulator
can be formed by connecting the VREG pin to an exter-
nal resistor and FET as shown in Figure 9-8. This cir-
cuit will provide a VDD of about 5V, after the voltage
drop across the FET.
