4.0 OSCILLATOR MODULE
4.1 Overview
The oscillator module has a variety of clock sources and
selection features that allow it to be used in a range of
applications while maximizing performance and
minimizing power consumption. Figure 4-1 illustrates a
block diagram of the oscillator module.
The system can be configured to use an internal
calibrated high-frequency oscillator as clock source, with
a choice of selectable speeds via software.
Clock source modes are configured by the FOSC bit in
Configuration Word (CONFIG).
1. EC oscillator from CLKIN.
2. INTOSC oscillator, CLKIN not enabled.
