2.7 ACCELEROMETER AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR
To measure acceleration and temperature, the Multimedia Expansion Board provides
an interface to the BMA150, which is a 3-axis (x, y and z plane) accelerometer and tem-
perature sensor, as shown in Figure 2-14. The PIC microcontroller uses an I
2
C bus
interface to communicate with the BMA150.
