7 How to compile example projects
7.1 Atmel AVR Studio 4
Open the AVR Studio 4 project and compile the project. The compiler will generate an
Intel hex file and an ELF file. The Intel hex file can be downloaded to the Atmel
ATmega1284P via the AVROSP program.
7.2 IAR Embedded Workbench
Open the IAR Embedded Workbench project and compile the code. After compilation
an Intel hex and a debug file will be available. The Intel hex file can be downloaded to
the ATmega1284P via the AVROSP program.
