• WPEN: Write Protect Enable
0 = Disables the Write Protect if WPKEY corresponds to 0x534D43 (“SMC” in ASCII).
1 = Enables the Write Protect if WPKEY corresponds to 0x534D43 (“SMC” in ASCII).
Protects the registers listed below:
• Section 29.16.1 ”SMC Setup Register”
• Section 29.16.2 ”SMC Pulse Register”
• Section 29.16.3 ”SMC Cycle Register”
• Section 29.16.4 ”SMC MODE Register”
• Section 29.16.5 ”SMC DELAY I/O Register”
• WPKEY: Write Protect KEY
Should be written at value 0x534D43 (“SMC” in ASCII). Writing any other value in this field aborts the write operation of the
WPEN bit. Always reads as 0.
