YAESU TWIN
General
RRC-1258MkIIs Yaesu Twin supports the special high end concept where one Yaesu radio can
be used to control another Yaesu radio. No PC:s needed at either end. The RRC-1258MkIIs
Yaesu Twin package includes power supplys and all necessary cables. The boxes do not need
to be opened all strappings are done in production. All you need to do is to put the system
together and do the IP-settings.
The twin concept is mainly developed for using with two radios of the same model for
example two FT-5000, but two different models can also be used. The following combinations

In the combinations tested above all functions works and are tested by several test pilots,
anyway we cannot give any guaranties that we have not missed some minor function when
tested. The meter functions in the FT-950 have some limitations, the PWR, SWR and ALC are
replicated to the controlling radio but there is no scale marks on the meters so you have to
learn how the different values are represented.

If you want to use the Auto tuner on the Remote radio, it’s very important that you connect
