Award BIOS Setup
NOTE: If the hard disk Primary Master/Slave and Secondary Master/Slave are set to
Auto, then the hard disk size and model will be auto-detected.
NOTE: The “Halt On:” field is used to determine when to halt the system by the BIOS if
an error occurs.
NOTE: Floppy 3 Mode support is a mode used to support a special 3.5” drive used in
Japan. This is a 3.5” disk that stores only 1.2 MB, the default setting for this is
disabled.
4-2 BIOS Features Setup
Selecting the “BIOS FEATURES SETUP” option in the CMOS SETUP UTILITY menu allows
users to change system related parameters in the displayed menu. This menu shows all of the
manufacturers default values for the EP-BX7/BX7+.
Pressing the [F1] key will display a help message for the selected item.

Virus Warning: During and after the system boots up, any attempt to write to the boot
sector or partition table of the hard disk drive will halt the system and an error message will
appear.
