6.2 Starting the device
1 Energize the device.

2 If the device does not boot up and/or if an error message appears while starting (booting) the
device, see Chapter 7.4 Troubleshooting and fault rectification, " 46.
3 Complete the following steps after initial commissioning (→ Document «M000174»):
3.1 Adjust the system settings of the device.
3.2 Install the required application programs.
6.3 Switching off the device
1 De-energize the device.

The lifespan of the backlight can be increased by reducing the brightness (→ Document
«M000174»).
