5. OPERATION
Please note the recommended tyre pressure for your vehicle in your
vehicle owner‘s handbook.
Do not measure the tyre pressure on warm tyres (e.g. after long
drives).
TO TEST TYRE PRESSURE:
1. Remove the dust cap from the tyre valve.
2. Press the button to activate the display.
3. Pressthepressuregaugenozzlermlyontothetyrevalvesothat
no air can escape. The reading is shown.
4. Remove the pressure gauge from the tyre valve.
The reading is shown for 10 seconds and then switches to
“0.00“. The device automatically switches off after another 10
seconds.
As long as the display is switched on, the test can be repeated
at any time irrespective of the reading shown.
5. Screw the dust cap back onto the tyre valve.
The tyre pressure can be displayed in two different units (bar and
PSI).
Additionally, a target air pressure can be entered for the front and
back tyres. Set the target air pressure according to your vehicle speci-
cations.Therespectivetargetairpressureservesasacomparison
value during the measurement.
SETTING THE MEASURING UNIT AND TARGET AIR PRESSURE:
1. Press the button to activate the display.
2. Keep the button pressed for 3 seconds to switch to the set-up
mode.
3. Select the desired measuring unit PSI or BAR (presetting PSI) using
the buttonsandconrmtheselectionwiththe button.
4. Select the front or rear tyres (blinking symbol) using the but-
tonsandconrmtheselectionwiththe button.
5. Set the target pressure value for the selected tyres using the
buttonsandconrmtheselectionwiththe button. The target
pressure value for the other tyres is shown.
6. Set the target pressure value for the selected tyres using the
buttonsandconrmtheselectionwiththe button.
The settings are shown for 2 seconds so they can be checked.
The display then switches to “0.00“. The device is set.
CHECKING THE TYRE PRESSURE WITH PRESET TARGET MEASUREMENT
READING
1. Remove the dust cap from the tyre valve.
2. Press the button to activate the display.
3. Select the target value for the tyre to be tested (front or rear tyres)
using the button.
