PRE-OPERATION GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS 1. THE INSTALLATION OF THE EQUIPMENT SHALL BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE REGULATION OF AUTHORITIES HAVING JURISDICTION AND CSA B139. 2. The heater must be operated only by properly trained personnel. The manufacturer’s instructions must be followed. 3. The heater must be installed and operated so that people are not exposed to dangers deriving from exhaust gases, from the hot air flow and in such a way that no fire risks exist. 4.

OPERATION FUELING THE HEATER CAUTION: NEVER FILL THE FUEL TANK INDOORS. ALWAYS FILL THE TANK OUTDOORS. BE SURE THAT THE HEATER IS ON LEVEL GROUND WHEN FUELING, AND NEVER OVERFILL THE FUEL TANK. It is always a good idea to fire the heater outdoors for the fist time. This will allow any oils used in the manufacturing process to be burned off in a safe environment. This initial burn should last at least 10 minutes.
OPERATION VENTING Connect the heater to a flue pipe or to a exhaust duct. To get a proper draft (at least 0,1 mbar) in the flue pipe, the exhaust gas path must rise. Avoid any elbows and bends in the first part of the flue pipe for at least 10 ft. For operation of heater in closed rooms without flue refer to the instructions for installation (page 10, #6). • If a remote thermostat is used, set it on maximum temperature. • Turn switch to “ON” position. • Set the desired temperature on room thermostat.
OPERATION RESET AFTER LOCKOUT – SAFETY AIR PRESSURE SWITCH The heater is equipped with a Reset push button. When the heater locks out, the red lamp on the push button (number 2 below) lights up. In this case push the Reset button (see Troubleshooting) to restart the heater. 1 2 3 4 The heater is also equipped with an air pressure switch that controls the airflow pressure and locks the heater out in the event of unit overheating.
MAINTENANCE WARNING: NEVER SERVICE HEATER WHILE IT IS PLUGGED IN OR WHILE HOT! Use only original equipment replacement parts. The use of alternate or third party components can cause unsafe operating conditions, and will void your warranty. 1. Before carrying out any maintenance operation, disconnect the power cord. 2. Maintenance must be carried out by qualified personnel. 3. The appliance must be thoroughly cleaned once a year to ensure good combustion and long life.

FONCTIONNEMENT APPROVISIONNEMENT EN CARBURANT DU CHAUFFAGE ATTENTION: NE JAMAIS REMPLIR LE RÉSERVOIR DE CARBURANT À L’INTÉRIEUR. TOUJOURS REMPLIR LE RÉSERVOIR À L’EXTÉRIEUR. S’ASSURER QUE LE CHAUFFAGE EST SUR UNE SURFACE PLANE LORS DE L’APPROVISIONNEMENT ET NE JAMAIS TROP REMPLIR LE RÉSERVOIR DE CARBURANT. C’est toujours une bonne idée de démarrer le chauffage pour la première fois à l’extérieur. Ceci permet de brûler les huiles utilisées dans le procédé de fabrication dans un environnement sans danger.

El aparato lo debe hacer funcionar exclusivamente el personal que ha sido adiestrado para el uso. Se deben respetar las instrucciones facilitadas por el fabricante. 3.
OPERACION ALIMENTANDO LA CALENTADORA PRECAUCION: NUNCA LLENE EL DEPOSITO DENTRO. SIEMPRE LLENE EL TANQUE FUERA. ESTE SEGURO QUE LA CALENTADORA ESTA EN SUELO PLANO AL ABASTECER DE COMBUSTIBLE, Y NUNCA SATURAR EL DEPOSITO. Es siempre una idea buena de despedir la calentadora fuera para el tiempo de puño. Esto permitirá cualquier óleos utilizado en el proceso industrial ser quemado en un ambiente seguro. Esta quemadura inicial debe durar por lo menos 10 minutos.
OPERACION 3. Llenar el tanque del aparato de gasóleo limpio. 4. Conectar el enchufe de alimentación con una toma de corriente 115V ~ 60 Hz monofásica con tierra. La luz testigo verde (n. 4) encendida indica que el aparato está bajo tensión. ADVERTENCIA: EL APARATO DEBE ESTAR CONECTADO CON TIERRA EN CONFORMIDAD CON LAS NORMAS VIGENTES. VENTILACION Para los generadores con chimenea enlazar el aparato con una chimenea o con un conducto para la descarga de los humos al aire libre.
OPERACION PRECAUCIÓN: CUANDO ESTE CALENTADOR ESTÁ CONECTADO AL TUBO DE CONDUCTO DE HUMOS, EL TUBO DE CONDUCTO DE HUMOS TERMINARÁ EN UNA SECCIÓN VERTICAL POR LO MENOS DOS PIES EN LONGITUD Y UN CORRIENTE DE AIRE SUFICIENTE SERÁ CREADO PARA ASEGURAR EL USO SEGURO Y APROPIADO DEL CALENTADOR.
