INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
INSPECTING AND VERIFYING CONDITIONS:
Inspecting gas connections must be done with extreme caution. Make
sure there is proper ventilation and no ignition source present in the
event a leak is found.
1. Connect the L.P.-Gas hose to the regulator at the front of the unit using
pipe compound on the male threads of the hose.
2. Screw the POL tting into the LP-Gas cylinder.
NOTE: When installing propane hose to the L.P.-Gas tank, note that it has
left hand threads.
3. Remove the back panel on the unit. This panel contains the mirror to
check the pilot and ame.
4. Slowly open the valve on the LP-gas cylinder.
5. Immediately check the piping connections from the LP-Gas cylinder to
the regulator and the regulator to the gas valve with soapy water. Replace
any leaking connections immediately.
6. Close the brass ring valve at the back of the unit and replace back
panel.
7. Light the pilot using the pilot lighting instructions below:
a. Turn knob on the gas valve to the pilot position.
NOTE: On the rst initial hook up, depress the control knob for 30-60
seconds to bleed the line.
b. Depress the control knob and hold. After ve seconds, rmly depress
red ignitor button. Repeat two or three times, if necessary, until pilot
lights. Once pilot is lit, continue to hold control knob down for
approximately one minute.
c. Check the mirror at the rear of the unit to view the pilot. If the pilot does
not remain lit, wait ve minutes. Then repeat section 7-b, holding the
control knob down for a longer period of time.
d. Turn gas valve control to the "ON" position.
8. Make sure the water supply to the unit is on and the unit has power. Start
the unit by moving the control switch to the “PUMP” position. Trigger the
gun and move the control switch to the “BURNER” position. After 15
seconds, turn the control switch to the “OFF” position. Make sure the gun
was triggered to release any trapped pressure.
9. Immediately check the piping connections from the gas valve to the brass
ring valve and the pilot plumbing assembly. Replace any leaking
connections immediately.
10. Extinguish the pilot by turning the knob on the gas valve to the “OFF”
position.
11. After removing the back panel, open the brass ring valve on the machine
and replace the back panel.
The machine should now be ready for use.
