Features and Specifications
Heating Specifications
Catalyst is equipped with a 2.0 cubic foot firebox and accepts logs
more than 18” in length.
2,000 sq. ft. (175 m
2
) approximate maximum heating capacity. Heating
capacity will vary depending on the home's floor plan, degree of
insulation, and the outside temperature.
28,000 BTU per hour (8 kW) EPA certified heat release rate, with actual
heat release rates ranging between 10,000 and 60,000 BTU per hour.
Exhaust: This is where
your chimney pipe, or
stack, attaches.
Soapstone: The
soapstone serves to
smooth heat delivery for
a long comfortable burn.
Blower vent:
Hot air from the
blower blows
out from this
gap and warms
your room.
Full-Fire View:
Three windows
means you can
see the
beautiful fire
from
everywhere in
the room.
Ash pan: Leftover ash
from your fire is
collected in the ash pan
to be emptied later.
Handle: Simply pull up
and out on Catalyst’s
custom wood handle to
open your door
