1. Forward Speed Selector Lever: Selects the forward speed.
The ground speed is variable and controlled by pushing down
on the lever.
2. Reverse Speed Selector Lever: Selects the reverse speed.
The ground speed is variable and controlled by pulling up on
the lever.
3. Broom Control: Engages the broom when depressed.
Releasing the control stops the broom.
4. Engine Choke Control: Close choke to start a cold engine.
Open choke when engine starts.
5. Fuel On/Off Valve: When transporting or for long-term storage,
close the valve. Open valve before starting engine.
6. Throttle Lever: Controls engine speed. Move toward the hare
icon for faster engine speed, move toward the turtle icon for
slower engine speed. Set throttle to FULL/FAST (hare icon) for
operation.
7. Engine Key Switch: The Engine Key Switch prevents the
engine from being started when in the OFF position. Rotate key
to the ON position to start engine, OFF to shut engine off.
8. Broom Swivel Lock: Pull upwards to unlock the broom swivel
lock pin. The broom head can be angled to either the right, left
or straight by rotating the broom frame with the broom assembly
resting on the ground. Push Down on the broom swivel lock to
lock the broom in the selected position.
9. Handle Bar Heat Switch: Turn on to heat the hand grips.
10. Brake Lock: Pull up and rotate to prevent the unit from rolling.
Turn back and push down to release the brakes.
