ways to activate the “adapt to ambient brightness” setting.
This feature enables the screen to be continuously adjusted
to suit the ambient brightness by the intelligent automatic
contrast control. This is easier on the eyes – and the wallet.
Energy consumption is signi cantly reduced by up to 50 %
with no reduction in picture quality.
Metz also gives careful thought to housing design and is
one of the few television manufacturers to provide a genu-
ine on/o switch. This means that the television is comple-
tely isolated from the power supply by a mains switch, thus
preventing energy consumption while it is turned o .
