mecaSoundpro
In addition to mecaSound+ signal technology (see
“mecaSound+”,) high-performance 2-way speaker sys-
tems with two tweeters and two mid-bass units come
into play, housed in acoustically optimised speaker
units.

Supports playback of a wide variety of multimedia data
les (video, music and photos) via network and USB.
Also supports HbbTV which makes it possible to use
additional context-related content provided by TV sta-
tions using this platform, such as media libraries. (see

Enables a natural-looking, format- lling adaptation of

Depending on the model, a connection is possible via
either a VGA or DVI-I interface or an HDMI-DVI adapter.
PIP
Picture-in-picture function – allows an additional chan-
nel or signal source to be displayed within the main
television picture.

High-quality analogue signal that many Metz TVs output
via the Euro AV (SCART) socket.

Signal concept (fully digital)
Thanks to the integration of digital interfaces (HDMI and
DVI-I), Metz LCD TVs are able to maintain and process
digital signals in their original quality – with no conver-
sion required.
SPDIF
Digital interface for exceptional audio quality. Optical
digital output: the TV sound can be enjoyed through a
surround sound system. Optical digital input: This input
on a Metz TV allows multichannel sound form a DVD
player, for example, to be passed (= looped) through
the television to the surround sound system.
Speakers
Depending on their speci cation, Metz TVs have up to 2
tweeters and 2 woofers/mid-range drivers. This two-way
speaker system enables outstanding sound reproduc-
tion in the high and mid-frequency ranges. Depending
on the model, a bass reflex system provides additional
audio performance (see mecaSound+, mecaSoundpro,
bass reflex system)
T
T+A home cinema system
By bringing together Metz TV expertise and high-end
audio components from T+A (the renowned electroa-
coustics specialists from Herford, Germany), every
home cinema enthusiast can have a system that leaves
nothing to be desired. All components can be operated
with the T+A remote control. The smart interface auto-
matically makes many adjustments in order to optimise
playback of lms and music.
