Hard disk recorder (PVR)
Two independent signal paths for:
Timeshi function for up to  hours of deferred viewing
while simultaneously recording, with dual bene t: record
one programme, while enjoying a second with timeshi
convenience.

• Recording capacity of up to  hours in HDTV quality,
up to  hours in conventional TV quality (SDTV)

Suitable for:
• Analogue***: terrestrial/cable/AV
• Digital: terrestrial (DVB-T)/cable (DVB-C)/
satellite (DVB-S or DVB-S)
• Permits analogue copying to video or DVD recorder.
2× DVB-C/T2/S2 module
DVB-T is the advanced version of current digital-terrestrial
television (DVB-T). This standard has already been introduced
in a number of European countries, however a date has not yet
been set for the introduction in Germany. In order to enable
reception of DVB-T for devices with twin tuners, Metz provides
the × DVB-C/T/S tuners as a conversion set.
Encoder module
Required for recording analogue signals on hard disk if using
the hard disk recorder (PVR).
