quality – and is eye-friendly too. Even with high-resolution

enables even complex images, such as news update bars,
elaborate patterns or colour edges to be reproduced in detail.
To provide a  rst-class viewing experience, Metz televisions
also feature dynamic backlighting, LUX automatic contrast
control, dynamic image clarity optimisation, 3D comb  lters,
in-plane switching (IPS), dynamic noise reduction, CTI and
other image-enhancing technologies.
A further advantage: Using HDMI, Metz
televisions enable  lms (e.g. in Blu-ray
format) to be shown in the original version at 24 pictures
per second – exactly the same picture frequency as that
used to record and store  lms and show them in the cinema.
Optimised motion display
Excellent image sharpness even during high-motion
scenes: the 100-hertz technology doubles the frame rate
shown by Metz televisions. Combined with dynamic motion
compensation (DMC), which adds algorithmically calculated
intermediate images, the result is optimised motion display
with even greater overall fluency.
200 Hz technology
By combining the tried-and-tested technology of dynamic
motion compensation with LED backlight technology, Metz
is able to achieve a new level of motion optimisation. On
the one hand, the DMC chip calculates additional motion
sequences. On the other, the LED backlight is switched
among four di erent lighting zones. This so-called scanning
backlighting considerably improves the viewer’s perception
of motion sequences.

First-class sound quality
Two high-performance, front-facing speakers deliver superb
sound. Thanks to the parametric equaliser, the speaker can
be optimally aligned to the ampli er – ensuring brilliant
treble and bass reproduction. A  rst-class picture calls

developed by Metz mecaSound

, optimises the audio
signal for an ultra-clear and nuance-rich, full sound.
