DESCRIPTION
The Sensormatic
®
SmartEAS
®
Alarm Management Reporting
module provides comprehensive, exception-based reports that
detail the activity of EAS systems. By using information captured
from Sensormatic’s UltraLink™ unit, the Alarm Management
Reporting module spotlights trends in alarm occurrences,
associate response times, reason for alarms and which items and
SKUs are causing the alarms. The Alarm Management Reporting
module provides the information to allow retailers to take specific
and targeted actions. This strengthens an overall loss prevention
program as well as preserves the effectiveness of EAS systems by
sending the message to shoplifters that all alarms will be addressed.
