Deactivator
DESCRIPTION
The AMB-2010 label deactivator detects and deactivates
Sensormatic Ultra•Strip
®
EAS labels. The unit plugs into an
ordinary electrical outlet and will detect active labels up to 15
cm (6”) above the surface of the deactivator and will deactivate
labels up to 3 inches above the surface of the unit. The
tabletop unit will fit easily on most counters, while the flush
mount unit can be recessed into the counter for added
convenience. The tabletop unit can be mounted horizontally or
vertically.
FEATURES
• A tone and an indicator light on the surface of the deactivator
inform users when label detection and deactivation occur.
• The indicators provide “doublechecking” capability by alerting users
to present a “missed” label to the deactivator a second time.
• The small size and mounting options of the deactivator makes
the deactivator suitable for POS stations of virtually any size.
• The unit’s performance provides a solution for retailers selling
source tagged CDs and DVDS
