NS Pro
DESCRIPTION
The ScanMax NS Pro is an EAS label deactivator antenna for use
with the ScanMax Pro or ScanMax Pro Dual Controller. The
deactivator antenna fits inside an EAS-ready NCR RealScan 7875z
bar code scanner/scale assembly. The unit provides an integrated
scanner and deactivator solution that’s easy to use and can help
speed up the checkout process. The deactivator can deactivate
labels up to 12 cm (5”) above the surface of the scanner at a
throughput speed of up to 200 cm/sec. (80”/sec.).
FEATURES
• The deactivator antenna fits adjacent to the scanner window
on the downstream side. It will automatically deactivate the
label as the cashier scans the barcode and passes the tagged
item over the deactivator antenna.
• The ScanMax NS Pro will deactivate both source tagged and
retailer tagged merchandise.

ScanMax NS Pro and the controller comply with all applicable

OPTIONAL REMOTE ALARM
The Remote Alarm Module provides audible and visual
indication of deactivation. The unit contains a key switch for
turning the deactivator antenna on/off.
