The Sensormatic
®
Ultra•Lane (AMS-1080) System is an
Ultra•Max
®
Acousto Magnetic system that features a
single pedestal per checkout lane design. The system is
designed to cover up to four lanes with one controller and
dual lanes up to 1.8m in width.
Created for supermarkets and hypermarket, as well as
other narrow checkout lane retailers, the Ultra•Lane
provides superb detection protection with minimal impact
on shopping cart passage, customers at the counter,
visibility, or store aesthetics.

• The Ultra•Lane antenna utilizes a creative aesthetic
look while maintaining a robust and durable design.
• The Ultra•Lane antenna attaches either to the side of a
checkout counter or to a railing post with supplied
hardware. If the configuration utilizes a Ranger antenna,
it mounts to the side of an opposing counter
.
• The Ultra•Lane System detects EAS tags/labels in a
checkout lane, with up to four lanes independently
suppor
ted. The detector consists of an antenna contr
oller
and one of the antenna combinations listed below:
- One Ultra•Lane antenna set up as a transceiver for
each checkout lane (two lanes maximum)
- One Ultra•Lane antenna set up as a transmitter and
one Ranger antenna set up as a receiver for each
checkout lane (two lanes maximum)
- One Ultra•Lane antenna set up as a transmitter on a railing
post between two adjacent checkout lanes with an outboard
Ranger antenna for each aisle (four lanes maximum).
