18 Warranty

METTLER TOLEDO warrants this product to be free from signiﬁcant deviations in material and

workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. If repair is necessary and not

the result of abuse or misuse within the warranty period, please return by freight pre-paid and

amendment will be made without any charge. METTLER TOLEDO”s Customer Service Dept. will

determine if the product problem is due to deviations or customer abuse. Out-of-warranty

products will be repaired on an exchange basis at cost.

The above warranty is the only warranty made by METTLER TOLEDO and is lieu of all other

warranties, expressed or implied, including, without limitation, implied warranties of

merchantability and ﬁtness for a particular purpose. METTLER TOLEDO shall not be liable for any

loss, claim, expense or damage caused by, contributed to or arising out of the acts or

omissions of the Buyer or Third Parties, whether negligent or otherwise. In no event shall

METTLER TOLEDO’s

liability for any cause of action whatsoever exceed the cost of the item giving rise to the claim,

whether based in contract, warranty, indemnity, or tort (including negligence).

Underwriters Laboratories’ listing for 300 Model Transmitters. They bear the cULus Listed mark,

signifying that the products have been evaluated to the applicable ANSI/UL and CSA Standards

for use in the U.S. and Canada.
