CAUTION
DO NOT PASS WELDING CURRENT THROUGH THE LOAD CELLS! WHEN WELDING
ON A SCALE, ALWAYS GROUND THE WELDING DEVICE AS CLOSE TO THE WORK AS
POSSIBLE. NEVER WELD CLOSER THAN 4 FEET (1.2 METERS) TO ANY LOAD CELL
WITHOUT REMOVING THE LOAD CELL.

Lower the weighbridge onto the support foundation (concrete slab or support
beam). Mark the position of the base plate mounting holes on the foundation (see
Figure 8-5). METTLER TOLEDO can supply templates for the bolt holes.

Raise the weighbridge out of the way and drill the appropriate size anchoring holes
in the support foundation.

Anchor the weigh module base plates to the foundation, using the instructions given
below for the appropriate type of foundation. Level each base plate to within +1/16
inch. All base plates must be in the same level plane within +1/8 inch.
