➞ Ensure more stable ambient conditions.
➞ Remove sample from weighing pan, rezero (tare).
Rectification
➞ Check whether weighing pan is positioned properly.
➞ Place required adjusting weight in center of pan.
➞ Increase reference weight or piece number.
Reference weight or reference number too small
No stability
• in taring or adjusting (calibration)
• when reference weight for piece counting or percent
weighing is placed on the pan
Wrong or no weighing pan
➞ Mount correct weighing pan.
