6.3 What if...?

Underload

➞ Wait for stability before pressing key.

➞ Ensure more stable ambient conditions.

➞ Remove sample from weighing pan, rezero (tare).

If overload appears when balance switched on,

recalibrate (readjust) balance.

Rectification

➞ Remove sample from weighing pan, rezero.

➞ Check whether weighing pan is positioned properly.

If underload appears when balance switched on,

recalibrate (readjust) balance.

No stability in taring or calibration (adjusting)

No or wrong calibration weight on pan

➞ Place required calibration weight in center of pan.

➞ Mount correct weighing pan.

Wrong or missing weighing pan

Abort of the adjustment using the

key.

Balance/scale software not sufficiently up-to-date for operation

with LC-B interface.
