6.2 Interface
RS232C interface and interface accessories
Every B-S balance is fitted with an RS232C interface for attachment to a peripheral device
(e.g. printer or PC with a 9-pin male connector). Matching to a different device can be
carried out in the menu (Sections 4.3.10 – 4.3.15).
You will find a detailed description of the available interface
commands in the brochure “Reference Manual MT-SICS Basic-
S balances 11780447” available from your METTLER TOLEDO
dealer or download from the Internet (www.mt.com/AB-S).
The wide range of features of the B-S balances regarding documentation of the results can
not be exploited to the full until a printer, e.g. the GA42 or LC-P45 from METTLER TOLEDO
is attached. The printed results make a decisive contribution to a simple way of working in
compliance with GLP/GMP.
