Operating hours
Operating hours of the lamps.
UV lamp, h Display of the operating hours of the UV
lamp.
<Reset UV lamp> Set operating hours of the UV lamp to 0. Click
it after replacing the UV lamp.
VIS lamp, h Display of the operating hours of the VIS
lamp.
<Reset VIS lamp> Set operating hours of the VIS lamp to 0. Click
it after replacing the VIS lamp.
6.28.5 Spectrum window
The SPECTRUM WINDOW can be opened with a right-hand mouse-click on
the 844 icon and then selecting the menu item
Spectrum window, or via the
button on the subtab Manual/Detector.
A selection can be made from three different spectra, the absorption
spectrum, intensity spectrum and the zero spectrum. Please note that each
time you click on
Absorption, Intensity or Zero the function of the <Update>
button will be triggered.
<Update> The 844 measures the current intensity spectrum and
sends it together with the last zero spectrum to have
been recorded to <IC Net>. The absorption spec-
trum is recalculated from these two spectra.
Absorption The absorption (with the units mAU) is given on the y-
axis as a function of the wavelength (x-axis). The ab-
sorption values are calculated for all measured wave-
lengths and shown a s spectrum. The calculation for-
