6.21 837 IC Degasser
6.21.1 837 IC Degasser features
The 837 IC Degasser is an instrument for continuously de-
gassing sample or eluent flows. Gas bubbles, excess carbon di-
oxide or nitrogen are reliably removed. Three versions are avail-
able:
2.837.0010 IC Eluent Degasser for two eluent flows
2.837.0020 IC Sample Degasser for one sample flow
2.837.0030 IC Combi Degasser for one sample flow and two
eluent flows
The 837 IC Degasser can be fully operated using the «IC Net»
program.
The 837 IC Degasser is normally connected to the 830 IC Inter-
face using the 6.2128.180 cable. Examples for interconnections
with the 837 IC Degasser can be found in the 830 Instructions
for Use.

The 837 icon is available in the SYSTEM window if a 837 IC Eluent
Degasser
, 837 IC Sample Degasser or 837 IC Combi Degasser has
been installed with the New system wizard or by using the
Setup/New devices/Install new device option of the SYSTEM window
(see 6.1.2).
If the system is connected and the 837 icon is clicked with the
right mouse button, the following menu appears:
Open Open the 837 IC Degasser window for parameter set-
tings (this window can also be opened by double-
clicking the icon).
Unlink Delete the 837 icon from the system.
