6.18 816 IC Eluent Selector
6.18.1 816 IC Eluent Selector features
The Metrohm 816 IC Eluent Selector is a step-gradient 3-port
selector, which can select one of three solutions (eluents).
The 816 IC Eluent Selector, which is normally operated manually
using the keypad of the instrument, can be fully operated using
the «IC Net» program. The 816 IC Eluent Selector is normally con-
nected to the 762 IC Interface using the 6.2134.080 or 6.2134.090
cable and the 6.2125.150 Adapter. Examples for interconnections
with the 816 IC Eluent Selector can be found in the 762 Instruc-
tions for Use.

6.18.2 816 IC Eluent Selector icon
The 816 icon is available in the SYSTEM window if a 816 IC Eluent
Selector
has been installed with the New system wizard or by using
the Setup/New devices/Install new device option of the SYSTEM win-
dow (see 6.1.2).
If the system is connected and the
816 icon is clicked with the
right mouse button, the following menu appears:
Open Open the 816 IC Eluent Selector window for parameter
settings (this window can also be opened by double-
clicking the icon).
Unlink Delete the 816 icon from the system.
6.18.3 816 IC Eluent Selector window
816 icon / Open
The 816 IC Eluent Selector window for parameter settings is
opened by selecting this menu option with the right mouse button
or by double-clicking the 816 icon in the SYSTEM window. It con-
sists of the four tabs Manual, Aliases, Program, and Links.
