Startup values
E Electric potential applied to the amperomet-
ric detector cell in V
Range: -2 ... +2 V.
Range Selection of measuring range:
pA 10 ... 500 pA.
nA 1 ... 500 nA.
µA 1 ... 200 µA.
Filter Electronic damping of the analog output
signal.
Selection: off, 0.2, 0.5, 1, 2, 5 s
Offset
Offset of the zero point for the analog out-
put signal.
Selection: -50 ... +50 % (in steps of 10 %)
Data rate Setting of the data acquisition rate.
Selection: -1, 2, 5, 10 Hz

<Set> Send current parameters immediately to the
871 Advanced Bioscan. Parameters are not
stored in the system file (*.smt) as long as
the file is not saved.
Pulse mode
This subtab of the
Method parameters tab in the 871 Advanced Bio-
scan
window contains the method parameters for the Pulse
mode. These values are sent and applied to the 871 Advanced
Bioscan by Start determination and Startup hardware, or if the val-
ues are sent manually with
<Set>.
Startup values
E1, E2, E3 Definition of three different working poten-
tials, which are applied to the amperometric
detector cell cyclically. The set potentials
are graphically displayed if the Method op-
tion is enabled above the graphic window.
Range: -2 ... +2 V.
t1, t2, t3 Time duration to apply the working poten-
tial.
Range: 0.1 ... 2 s (t1) , 0.01 … 2 s (t2,t3)
