8 Troubleshooting

VA Database 2.0

The automatic template load cannot be activated

1. Press to change to the read-only mode in the VA REPORT

GENERATOR window.

2. Save the current template which has been modified.

The custom reports are not printed with the currently

loaded template

Deactivate the automatic loading of method associated tem-

plates.

The automatic custom report printing is not working

1. Check if automatic printing is enabled in the SERIAL INTER-

FACE SETTINGS window (see Automatic printing, page 53).

2. Check printing condition in the SERIAL INTERFACE SETTINGS

window (see Automatic printing, page 53).

Not all custom reports are printed with manual

selection and automatic template load enabled

1. Check if for all methods used in the determinations to be

printed a method associated template is defined in the GEN-

ERAL PREFERENCES window (see Templates settings, page

22).

2. Define a method associated template for each method used

or disable the automatic loading of templates.

8.3 Display: What to do if ...

No overlay curves are created

Check if the selected items are compatible. Overlay curves

can only be created if they are of the same type and have the

same units for x and y axes.

Examples for impossible overlays are:

substance and segment curves,

standard addition and calibration curves,

calibration curves with height and area evaluation,

VA and PSA curves.
