3.6 Storing as a method
The parameter settings used for the drinking water determination can
be stored in the 732 IC Detector as a method and hence later recalled
at any time. Proceed as follows to store the inputted settings under the
name "Water":

Press the <METHOD> key to open the main menu for
method management.

>METHOD/recall
The title of the submenu "METHOD/recall" appears. This is
used to load a method already stored in the working mem-
ory. Proceed further to the next submenu.

Press the <METHOD> key again.

>METHOD/store
The title of the submenu "METHOD/store" appears. This is
used to store a method loaded in the working memory.
ENTER
Press the <ENTER> key.
>METHOD/store
name:
The inquiry for entry of the method name which can have a
length of max. 8 characters appears. The name "Water" se-
lected for this example is entered as follows:

Press the <è> key to start the text entry.
>METHOD/store
name: ABCDEFGH
The first 8 letters of the alphabet "ABCDEFGH" appear with
the first letter A flashing. The letter at the flashing position
can now be selected with the <ç> and <è> keys.

Press the <è> key repeatedly until the flashing letter "W"
appears.
>METHOD/store
name: WXYZ abc
The first letter of the name is now the desired "W".
ENTER
Press the <ENTER> key to confirm the first letter.
>METHOD/store
name: WWXYZ ab
The second letter of the name starts to flash and can again
be selected with the <ç> and <è> keys.

Press the <è> key repeatedly until the letter "a" appears
at the flashing position.
