5. SOFTWARE KIT (optional)
Connection of the kit and installation of the SX-DMM softw
are :

ith the software kit option, the multimeter can interface directly wi
th a computer or PC:
1.
Connect the optical plug at the top of the shockproof sheath. A mechanical
fail-safe
device is provided on the left-hand side to prevent connection the w
rong way
round.
2.
Plug the connector into one of the PC's "COM
" ports.
3.
Keep the "Pk +/-"
and "
" multimeter keys pressed down and then move the switch
from the "OFF
" position to the position required.

he digital display briefly indicates "RS232
".

Install the SX-DMM software on the PC using the 2 floppy
disks.
5.
Start up the software
to perform data acquisition and to take advantage of the various
display possibilities such as cursors, curves, tables, etc.
