measurement
Never test a resistance on a live circuit.
Connect the leads - preferably twisted - to the multimeter
(COM
and Ω terminals) and to the circuit or the component to be tested.
Position the selector switch on the ohmmeter function “ Ω
”.
Automatic range selection : read the measured value.
Memorise the value, if necessary, by pressing the “ MEM ” key.
Overload : the beep sounds and “ OL.
blinks.

3.5 Diode test
Never test a diode on a live circuit.
With this function, it is not only possible to test classic diodes, but also
LED’s or any other semiconductor in which the junction corresponds
to a direct voltage less than 3 V.
Connect the leads to the multimeter (COM and
terminals) and
to the circuit or component to be tested.
Position the selector switch on the “
” function.

Memorise, if necessary, by pressing the “ MEM ” key.
Protection : 600 Vrms.
3.6 Frequency measurement
Connect the leads to the multimeter (COM and V terminals) and to
the circuit the frequency
of which is to be tested.
Position the selector switch on the “ Hz ” function.
Automatic range selection : read the measured value.
Memorise, if necessary, by pressing the “ MEM ” key.
Overload : “ OL.
blinks.
