Functional description
VI - MEASUREMENT system (cont'd)
Steps
1. Press the "CURSORS" key to display the measurement by cursors menu.
2. Press the "Mode" key and choose "Manual".
3. Press the "Type" key and choose "Voltage" or "Time".
4. Press the "Source" key and choose "CH1", "CH2", "MATH", "REFA",
"REFB" as reference source for the measurements.
5. Choose "CurA" and turn the "Adjust" knob to adjust cursor A.
6. Choose "CurB" and turn the "Adjust" knob to adjust cursor B.
7. The values of the measurements are displayed at top left on the screen:
If the type of measurement configured is "Voltage", the values are in V:
- The voltage difference between Cursor A and Cursor B: ∆V
If the type of measurement configured is "Time", the values are in S:
- The time difference between Cursor A and Cursor B: ∆T
- The inverse of ∆T is in Hz: 1/∆T

Select the channel attached to Cursor A.

Select the channel attached to Cursor B.
Cur A
Select Cursor A and turn the "Adjust" knob to
adjust it.
Cur B
Select Cursor B and turn the "Adjust" knob to
adjust it.
The "Track" mode displays two crossed cursors attached to the trace. You can
adjust only the horizontal position of the crossed cursor selected, by turning the
"Adjust" knob. The oscilloscope displays the values at top left on the screen.
